| Located in Knoxville's busy art and antique district, Hanson Gallery features the work of regional and nationally acclaimed artists in an exciting array of media. Two formal galleries house the presentation of fine art and sculptural works; additional gallery space houses fine craft including artist-made jewelry, art glass, wood, ceramics and mixed media. Hanson Gallery features one of the south's largest collections of moulding samples available for custom framing. A visit to the gallery and framing studio is truly a feast for the eyes.
Owners Doug and Diane Hanson opened the gallery in the existing location in 1988. Leaving professional studio artist positions, they partnered in the development of a gallery that would reflect their collective taste and style. Centerpiece to the Hanson's plan is warmth and maturity both in staffing, service and selection of work for exhibition.
